Working with Nick and Cally was such a dream! These two were fun and playful yet oh so affectionate with each other (photographer dream team here… seriously!). Nick and Cally tied the knot at the Polo Golf & Country Club in Cumming, GA. Picking my favorite moment of the day is beyond easy on this one-it was the moment that Nick saw Cally for the first time. The two locked eyes and Nick shed a few tears seeing his bride (sorry ladies, he’s taken!). It was such a beautifully private moment that they allowed their closest friends and family to bare witness to. The first time a groom sees his bride is one of my favorite moments– its one of the parts in the day where everything else falls away and you get a real glimpse into the couple that you are here to celebrate. All the craziness of planning a wedding and the chaos leading up to that moment vanish and the couple shed everything but their love for one another. (Ugh. Emotion junky party of one right here).
Following the ceremony we loaded up on some golf carts and had some fun taking pictures on the golf course! Nick + Cally are that couple that you just want to spend time around. They have that love that we all secretly hope to have. They’re fun and playful but have a connection that runs deep. It was such a pleasure to be their photographer and spend such a beautiful day with them! Congratulations Nick + Cally!!!
